BETTOR’S BIG NIGHT OUT IN THE APPLE ISLE

Bettor’s Delight dominated the key features on Tasmanian Pacing Cup night in Hobart this Saturday past. His daughter Enchanted Stride started the night with a victory in the Tasmania Oaks for trainer David Miles and owner Emilio Rosati. Ex kiwi import, Shelby Bromac proved too strong in the $75,000 Tasmanian Pacing Cup. Bettor’s Delight provided the quinella on the race feature.

Max Delight added another Derby to his CV when he effortlessly won the Tasmanian Derby. Max Delight provided David Aiken with a feature double as he also trained Shelby Bromac. Congratulations to all those involved in these winners.

Elsewhere Bettor’s Delight’s son Flyin Even Bettor won the time-honoured Sapling Stakes at Ashburton for the juveniles and at Melton, Can’t Refuse took his career earnings to $215,000 with victory in the Charlton Cup.

American Ideal looks to have unearthed another top flight 2yo with Soho Hamilton an impressive winner on debut at Terang. He looks to have serious bottom after he paced 1.56 and change on debut. Other good winners for American Ideal included Double Rocket at Auckland, Mighty Monica at Banks Peninsula, Rosie’s Ideal at Gloucester Park and The Deal won the Broken Hill Cup.

Resident trotting stallion Pegasus Spur had good winners in I’m Just Awesome at Menangle and Quietly Spoken made it back to back victories at Albion Park.
