THE ORANGE AGENT DOMINANT IN GROUP ONE VICTORY

Top class mare The Orange Agent is certainly one of the benchmark mares in Australasia. The daughter of sire American Ideal added to her stellar career with a dominant performance in the New Zealand Breeders Stakes at Addington. This was career win number 20 from only 29 race starts. It was her fourth Group 1 success and she now has banked over $640,000 in stakes. The Group 1 feature saw the Woodlands Stud stallions sire the first three past the post.

Out west, American Ideal’s son Runrunjimmydunn made a stunning debut at Gloucester Park. His 22 metre Australian debut win sent an ominous warning to his rivals ahead of the WA Derby.

On the same card, American Boy secured career win number 19 and provided the Hall barn with an American Ideal double. Star pacer Lazarus was back in action at Addington. The son of Bettor’s Delight paced 1.52.8 to win the 4&5yo Group 2 championships at Addington, his prizemoney is now in excess of $2,000,000!
