Records Fall for Classy Daughter of Bettor’s Delight!
/The Mark Jones trained Delightful Memphis showed she’s not to be forgotten in the upcoming 3YO fillies clashes when she won in a sizzling 1.51.9 at Winton on Sunday. Win number five not only took her earnings to over $200,000 it also saw her smash the Winton All-Comers and the 3YO Fillies Mile Track Records.
Sizzling times for 3YO fillies seemed to be the order of the past week with daughter of American Ideal Youshallnotpass also winning with a slick mile rate of 1.55.5 at Cambridge on Thursday Night.
And the winners kept on coming for American Ideal, with 2YO Our Ideal Lady winning at Bathurst, Idealistic Lass at Forbury Park, Smashing American at Pinjarra, Jilliby Nippa at Terang, Glentoro at Addington and The American Dream at Penrith.
Not to be out shone by his stud mate, Bettor’s Delight scored three wins at Cambridge with Stars Tonight, On the Razzle and Bet Out Of Ell who won in a slick time of 2.40 for the 2200m trip.
Other winners included Form Analyst (win 4 in a row), Bettor Be Lively in the WA Country Derby at Pinjarra, Subtle Delight at Albion Park in 1.56.6, Maverick at Addington and the 9YO Compton Street at Menangle.
Fellow 9YO Dauntless bought up the first of two wins for Pegasus Spur at Cambridge. With War Machine taking out feature trot with great class with an emphatic three length win, making it career win number four.
