BETTOR’S DELIGHT’S KIDS KEEP KICKING GOALS
/Champion stallion Bettor’s Delight’s current two year old crop continued a memorable season thus far with victories in two New Zealand feature races at Addington. In the Sires Stakes final for 2yo colts and geldings his son One Change won a stirring final!
One Change remains undefeated in his juvenile season following his latest victory and has earnt over $212,000 thus far this season. He led in a Woodlands sired trifecta on the race, with Flyin Even Bettor (Bettor’s Delight) finishing second and Virgil (Sweet Lou) claiming third spot. The race was won in a New Zealand record for 2yo’s in 1.53.4.
In the PGG Wrightson 2yo fillies final, diminutive filly Amazing Dream won the $150,000 sale series final. Pacing a 1.54.9 race she defeated her rivals by 3 ½ lengths and now has $190,000 in the locker.
American Ideal continues to be a rich source of winners the length and breath of Australia. Yankee Lincoln won at Ballarat, Ideal Fantasy at Wagga Wagga, American Princess won impressively at Menangle, Prince Potter won on the border at Albury, American Tour at Mildura and Ideal Some Magic continued on his winning way at Bendigo.
Pegasus Spur’s daughter I Am Pegasus continued her great form with another victory at Melton, the 3yo filly looks a standout in her peer group in Victoria, other good winners for Pegasus Spur included Pretty Little Lucy at Ballarat and Lukyanova at Cambridge.
Sweet Lou added another winner to his first ‘down under’ crop when Sweet Madison led all the way at Gloucester Park. The filly became his 8th winner in Australasia!
