Both his son’s and daughters are showing up at the trials in blistering times. With trial winners at The Meadowlands and a brace of winners at the Gaitway in New Jersey this week, the Sweet Lou’s are the talk of the town amongst the best trainers in the northern hemisphere.
Closer to home leviathan stallion Bettor’s Delight continues to amaze with his deeds. He sired no fewer than five winners at Gloucester Park last Friday night, among the winners were Eagle Rox, Bettor Be Lively and $772,000 earner Bettor’s Fire. At Nelson he was the dominant sire over their two days of racing with Cole Porter greeting the judge twice, Kensington Kate and Feel The Money also got the chocolates.
American Ideal’s keeps racking up 2yo winners in Australia, out west his son’s Bletchley Park and Franco Edward are competing to be the best 2yo in Western Australia, both cruised to victory ahead of the Golden Slipper at Gloucester Park, The Ideal Dancer was a Goulburn winner also. In New Zealand, American Ideal produced good winners in Glenn Ford at Auckland and Saying Grace was impressive winning at Nelson.
