LAZARUS JOINS HARNESS RACINGS IMMORTALS

Champion pacer Lazarus now sits among Australasia’s harness greats following his emphatic Hunter Cup victory at Melton. Taking no prisoners in the 2760 metre feature the son of Bettor’s Delight gave his rivals a pacing lesson in toughness, high speed and stamina! Lazarus smashed the track record by over a second, returning a mile rate of 1.54.1 for the trip. He has now earned over $3.5 million and became the richest pacer bred in New Zealand history.

Woodlands Stud Stallions provided the quinella on the A$500,000 feature with gun sire American Ideal’s son Soho Tribeca running a courageous second!

Big week in New Zealand for American Ideal with his son Classie American winning the Otaki Cup, he sired a treble at Wyndham when Duke Of Wellington, Ideal Breeze and The Big Boss all greeted the judge at the southern race way!
