/Champion pacer Lazarus now sits among Australasia’s harness greats following his emphatic Hunter Cup victory at Melton. Taking no prisoners in the 2760 metre feature the son of Bettor’s Delight gave his rivals a pacing lesson in toughness, high speed and stamina! Lazarus smashed the track record by over a second, returning a mile rate of 1.54.1 for the trip. He has now earned over $3.5 million and became the richest pacer bred in New Zealand history.
