/American Ideal’s son My Hard Copy claimed harness racings biggest scalp when he defeated the mighty Lazarus in the Group 1 Fremantle pacing cup at Gloucester Park. The diminutive pacer who was bred and raised at Woodlands Stud has now banked $1.2 million in stakes. The Group 1 feature saw the first five past the post all sired by Woodlands stallions American Ideal and Bettor’s Delight!
American Ideal had no shortage of winners this last week, with Typhoon Tilly and Yankee CJ winning on Hamilton cup day, American Brave was a Cambridge winner, Ideal Roman and Lynbar Rose were both winners at Thames and Illegal Immigrant remains unbeaten in the ‘Apple Isle’ following a win at Launceston.
Plenty of winners for Bettor’s Delight, he sired a double at Invercargill where Bettor Be Ready and Aloka greeted the judge, Showgun Thomas was a Swan Hill winner, Italian Delight won at Cambridge and Carter Michael was a Narrogin winner.
Pegasus Spur had good winners in All The Way Mae at Ballarat, Mosquito Spur at Redcliffe, Blood And Whisky at Thames and Marvellous Max made it back to back wins at Shepparton.
