At the Meadowlands this Saturday past he sired the quinella in the legendary Meadowlands Pace for the 3yo colts and geldings. In the $682,000 feature his son Best In Show won the feature and stopped the clock in 1.48 flat! The victory gave Best In Show a winner’s cheque of $341,325! Bettor’s Wish ran a monster race to finish second after sitting in the open for the majority of the race.

Closer to home, Bettors Delight’s son Ohoka Punter won the Group 1 ‘Blacks A Fake at Albion Park and on the same card Self Assured announced himself as the next big thing when he sat in the chair to win the South East Derby, he paced his closing half in 53.4!

American Ideal recorded a plethora of winners this week and among them where Our Jack Starr at Bathurst, Maximus Red scored career win number 13 at Bathurst, Float On Bye won on debut in her 2yo race at Melton, Saying Grace was too classy at Gloucester Park and New York Rain paced 1.53.8 to score at Menangle.
