/American Ideal’s ace 2yo son Centenario continued his season of dominance with an all the way victory in his Australasian Breeders Crown semi final at Bendigo. Blasting home his last half in 54.8, Centenario will be nominal favourite for this weeks 2yo classic. This was career win number eight and he has now banked over $257,000 in stakes.
In North America, American Ideal’s daughter Youaremycandygirl won the $270,000 Empire Breeders Classic at Tioga Downs pacing the mile in 1.50.4, she led in an American Ideal quinella on the feature with Alexis Faith running second.
Bettor’s Delight’s progeny annexed Breeders Crown semi final victories with 2yo speedster Hurricane Harley winning at Bendigo with plenty of authority, this was career win number six and he has over $100,000 in the locker in his debut season. The David Miles trained 2yo trotting filly Emerald Stride won her Breeders Crown semi final at Maryborough and will head to the final as the one to beat. In New Zealand, Bettor’s Delight was seen to advantage with a winning treble at Addington, among the winners where Global Domination, De Lancome and Ana Malak.
