FRANCO EDWARD SECURES 2ND GROUP ONE IN STUNNING JUVENILE SEASON
/Ace juvenile Franco Edward finished his juvenile season with a standout victory in Group 1 Golden Slipper pace at Gloucester Park. The son of American Ideal, took his earnings past $156,000 with career win number four. This was Franco Edward’s 2nd Group 1 victory and he has been the standout amongst his peers in the west. The race saw American Ideal’s son’s run the quinella with Bletchley Park running second, the two juveniles have had some stirring battles in recent times. Congratulations to owner Rob Watson and trainer/driver Kyle Harper. American Ideal’s 2yo class in Australia this season have dominated a number of key feature races!
Great to see Bettor’s Delight star son Chicago Bull back at the races. The millionaire resumed in style at Gloucester Park and will be a big player on this year’s Grand Circuit. Other good winners for Bettor’s Delight included Harry Turbo at Leeton, he sired a double at Auckland when Cyclone Banner and Somethingaboutmary got the chocolates, Mersey Delight won at Launceston, Styx Vixen at Newcastle and Let’s Save The Day at Ballarat.
