MISS HALFPENNY’S CONSISTENCY REWARDED WITH GROUP 1 VICTORY 

Classy New South Wales filly Miss Halfpenny capped off an excellent juvenile season with a Group 1 victory in the $125,000 Breeders Challenge final at Menangle. The daughter of American Ideal pounced on the lead and was never headed in 1.55 and change. Bred at Goulburn by Matt Day, Miss Halfpenny has now banked closed to $170,000 in stakes in her brief career. Congratulations to all involved.

American Ideal added another millionaire to his CV, when his star North American 3yo daughter Youaremycandygirl joined the elite club! He is now the sire of 13 millionaires!

Bettor’s Delight’s juveniles where impressive on Vicbred semi final night at Melton. His daughter Two Times Bettor sat in the chair to win her race in impressive fashion and his son Hurricane Harley torched his rivals by fifteen metres in his semi final and remains the horse to beat come finals night.

Sweet Lou’s first crop are underway in the Northern hemisphere and the blaze brigade are already in the winner’s stall! Amongst the winner’s have been Lyons Night Hawk – 1.53.6, Blood Money – 1.53.8 and Sweeter Lulu who is the fastest 2yo filly on a 5/8th track thus far this season. Sweet Lou also has a staggering number of qualifiers also.
