/Top flight filly Bettor Joy is enjoying a great 3yo season in New Zealand. The daughter of champion sire Bettor’s Delight is headed towards $300,000 in stakes following her latest victory at Addington. Bettor Joy recorded career win number 10 when she led in a Woodlands Stud sired trifecta on the 40th series heat of 3yo Nevele R fillies series. She brushed home in 27.4.
On the same card, Another Masterpiece was to classy in the 2yo Sires Stakes heat for the boys. The Woodlands bred son of Bettor’s Delight ran home in 55.4, with a closing quarter of 26.6!
Other good winners for Bettor’s Delight included Aqua Miss who won her heat of the Victorian Oaks at Melton, Let’s Save The Day was a stylish winner at Horsham and Big Bad Bruce won at Cranbourne.
American Ideal’s son Cruz smashed the track record at Horsham with a stunning display over the 1700 metre trip. He paced 1.53 and crushed his rivals by seventeen metres. At Invercargill he sired a double when Ideal For Sure and Duke Of Wellington got the chocolates, Resurgent Dream won her prelude of the Granny Smith for the 4yo mares at Devonport, American Zest made it back to back wins at Kilmore and Run Boy Run was a Rangiora winner.
Pegasus Spur sired debut winner Maorishadow at Charlton, Pegasus Elegance recorded career win number 11 when she won at Menangle and Malabar Spur was a winner at Cambridge.
