CHICAGO BULL – WHEN SIZE DOESN’T MATTER!
/Diminutive pacer Chicago Bull is the new king out west following an outstanding victory in the 2017. Fremantle pacing cup at Gloucester Park. A son of leviathan stallion Bettor’s Delight, Chicago Bull was simply too tough for his rivals. The win in the Group 1 feature took his earnings past $500,000 and he will be a key player in this week’s WA pacing cup.
The Fremantle cup saw American Ideal’s son Soho Tribeca run second, giving the Woodlands Stallions the quinella on the race.
Bettor’s Delights winners continued unabated with star pacer Lazarus winning the $60,000 Cambridge Flying Mile, Mossdale Conner was the winner of the Roxburgh cup and A Piccadilly Princess sat in the chair to win the Graham Goffin Memorial at Melton in 1.51.4. Classy filly Takara Truffle has been a revelation since arriving in Australia, the daughter of American Ideal was a sensational 32 metre winner for trainer Aaron Goadsby at Maitland.
At Cambridge, he sired a double when Ideal Roman and Idealistic greeted the judge and American Boy resumed at Gloucester Park with a very impressive victory.
Great to see Pegasus Spur’s son Monty Python defeat all comers in the trotters FFA at Otago and Arannalea was a winner at Timaru.
