Bettor’s Delight’s newly crowned champion son Lazarus finished New Zealand Cup week in style with victory in the Woodlands Stud free for all at Addington. Forced to sit parked, he was too tough for his rivals in the Group One feature, he returned a New Zealand record for the 1950 metre trip, pacing a 1.52.4-mile rate and pacing a closing ½ in 55.7.
